Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.

Hauptmann Josef Schölß (22.03.1916 † 22.08.2009) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on August 21, 1942 and the Ritterkreuz on May 25, 1943 as Hauptmann und Staffelkapitän of the 3. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 51 "Edelweiss". Good condition. Measuring: Postcardsize.
Small estate of Unteroffizier Rolf Nehrenst, who served with the 12. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 51 as Bordfunker but met his fate on December 18, 1943 when they crashed (accident) near Wiener-Neustadt. He was awarded the Fliegerschützenabzeichen mit Blitzbündel.

Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 51 "Edelweiss" and the Ritterkreuz on June 20, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the I. Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 51 "Edelweiss". Good condition. Measuring: 8,6×13,7cm. Comes with an extra signed letter.
Knight's Cross: "Awarded after flying 297 bomber sorties (counted as 306 front flights), the vast majority of these in the East. He particularly distinguished himself over the southern section of the Eastern front during the winter of 1942/43, in which he destroyed 30 aircraft on the ground, 8 tanks, 150+ trucks/horse-drawn wagons and 5 artillery positions. By the time of receiving the Knight’s Cross he had also scored hits on 2 Soviet destroyers and damaged 42500 GRT of shipping in the Black Sea."
