Original Wehrpass of Erich Velte, who previously served with Luftwaffe-Bau-Kompanie 3/7/XII and suffered frostbite to his feeth, so was send to several Reserve/Recovering units before finally being transferred to the Luftwaffe-Wachbataillon BII, SS-Wachkommando "Mittelbau", SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann "Mittelbau" and SS-Totenkopf-Wachbataillon Sachsenhausen. Promoted to Gefreiter and Obergefreiter; before being incorporated into the SS and then received the rank "SS-Rottenführer". The Rottenführer promotion entry was signed by SS-Hauptsturmführer August Kolb. Condition as seen.
