Wachtoffizier of Uboot “U-48”, the Eichenlaubon December 31, 1941 as Oberleutnant zur See und Kapitän of Uboot “U-564” and the Schwertern on August 17, 1942 as Kapitänleutnant und Kapitän of Uboot “U-564”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.

Hoffmann Photo Postcard (Nr. R50) of Knight’s Cross with Oakleaves and Swords Holder Reinhard Suhren, who earned the Ritterkreuz on November 3, 1940 as Oberleutnant zur See and I. Wachoffizier of U-48, the Eichenlaub on December 31, 1941 as Oberleutnant zur See and Kommandant of U-564 and the Schwertern on February 16, 1942 as Kapitänleutnant and Kommandant of U-564. He also earned the U-boot Kriegsabzeichen mit Brillianten. Reinhard Suhren passed away on August 25, 1984. Good condition. Postcardsize.
