Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Werner Ehrig. Generalleutnant Werner Ehrig (22.04.1897 in Eibenstock † 31.01.1981 in Zell im Wiesental) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on July 14, 1944 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzeson May 26, 1940 as Oberstleutnant im Generalstab und Ia of the 22. Infanterie-Division (LL).

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
