Oberfeldwebel Ernst-Gustav Kruse (01.10.1915 in Egeln † 05.10.1944 in Ozbanice, Poland) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on January 19, 1942; the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on October 6, 1942 as Oberfeldwebel und Zugführer in the 7. Kompanie/ Panzergrenadier-Regiment 3 and the Eichenlaub on May 17, 1943 as Oberfeldwebel und Zugführer in the 7. Kompanie/ Panzergrenadier-Regiment 3 of the 3. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
