Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Günther Krappe. Generalleutnant Günther Krappe (13.04.1893 in Schilde † 31.12.1981 in Altena) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 11, 1944 as Generalleutnant und Kommandeur of the 61. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
