Hauptmann Herbert Bartels (15.08.1917 † 01.07.2009) earned the Ritterkreuz on November 22, 1943 as Leutnant und Batteriechef of the 3. Batterie/ Reserve-Flak-Abteilung 293 / Flak-Regiment 42 and the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on March 20, 1945 as Hauptmann with the 3. Batterie/ Reserve-Flak-Abteilung 293.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
