5x Award Documents Grenadier-Regiment 279 (Officer & DKIG Holder)

Original price was: €500,00.Current price is: €400,00.

Small but interesting Award document set of Alexander Fogel, an officer of Infanterie-Regiment 279 of the 95. Infanterie-Division. Hauptmann Alexander Fogel would earn the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (German Cross in Gold) in April 1945! I was able to give this document set a face, after performing research in the Bundesarchiv. This set will come with an additional copy of his 28 page file! Eventually, Hauptmann Fogel would also earn the Nahkampfspange I. Stufe and Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and Gold, however these certificates did not come with this set.

This set comes with:

  • Postwar dated (Juli 1945) overview of his Awards
  • “Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse” Award document, signed by an unknown Oberst
  • “Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse” Award document, signed by Generalleutnant Generalleutnant Friedrich Zickwolff (KC, Died 1944)
  • “Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen” Award document, signed (unsure) by Oberst Wolfgang Meier (DKIG)
  • “Verwundetabzeichen in Silber” Award document, signed by unknown Hauptmann
  • “Winterschlacht im Osten 1841/42” Award document, signed by unknown Major
  • Copy of his 28 page file in Bundesarchiv!
