Bataillon/ SS-Totenkopf-Infanterie-Regiment 3, the Eichenlaub on August 22, 1943 as SS-Obersturmbannführer und Kommandeur of the SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 5 “Totenkopf” of the 3. SS-Panzergrenadier-Division “Totenkopf“ and the Schwertern on September 2, 1944 as SS-Standartenführer und Kommandeur of 2. SS-Panzer-Division “Das Reich”.

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
