Major Paul Zorner (31.03.1920 † 27.01.2014) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on March 20, 1944 as Oberleutnant und Staffelkapitän of the 8. Staffel/ Nachtjagdgeschwader 3, the Ritterkreuz on June 9, 1944 as Hauptmann und Staffelkapitän of the 8. Staffel/ Nachtjagdgeschwader 3 and the Eichenlaub on September 17, 1944 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the III. Gruppe/ Nachtjagdgeschwader 5. He achieved 59 aerial victories.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
