Generalleutnant Wend von Wietersheim (18.04.1900 † 19.09.1975) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 10, 1942 as Oberstleutnant und Kommandeur and the Eichenlaub on January 12, 1943 as Oberst und Kommandeur of the Panzergrenadier-Regiment 113 of the 1. Panzer-Division and the Schwertern on March 26, 1944 as Generalmajor und Kommandeur of the 11. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
