Generalmajor Wolf Ewert (31.07.1905 in Stralsund † 16.03.1994 in Bad Nauheim) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on November 1, 1943 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on July 18, 1944 as Oberstleutnant und Kommandeur of the Grenadier-Regiment 274 of the 94. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
