Original Award document of Unteroffizier Dietrich, who served with the 13. (Infanteriegeschütz) Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 855 of the 344. Infanterie-Division, for the Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse (Iron Cross 2nd Class) for his heroic service, on October 4, 1944, which was signed a Generalleutnant Felix Schwalbe (earned both the DKIG & DKIS !). The 344. Infanterie-Division was fighting in Belgium & Netherlands at that time! Condition as seen.

Generalleutnant Adolf Raegener (17.02.1895 in Kleinleinungen † 17.08.1983 in Braunschweig) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on June 25, 1940 as Oberstleutnant und Kommandeur of Infanterie-Regiment 309 of the 208. Infanterie-Division and the Eichenlaub on April 17, 1945 as Generalleutnant und Kommandantof Verteidigungsbereich Magdeburg.
Ritterkreuz: “Oberstleutnant Raegener achieving outstanding feats of arms near Antwerp as a result of the fearless devotion to duty that he displayed under enemy fire. His unstoppable forward drive was an invaluable factor that led to the swift capture of the city and fort of Antwerp. This in turn majorly facilitated the subsequent operations against the Belgians.”
Eichenlaub: "Awarded for his untiring devotion to duty during the defense of Magdeburg in early 1945. Despite having suffered very severe wounds earlier in the war (one leg amputated and the other badly mutilated) he nonetheless was able to ensure that countless refugees were able to escape over the Elbe river to the comparative safety of Western allied captivity."

Hauptmann Egon Delica (04.01.1915 in Stettin † 26.04.1999) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on May 12, 1940 as Leutnant und stellvertretender Führer of the Sturmgruppe "Granit" of the Sturmabteilung "Koch". Egon Delica was the leader of Trupp 1 in Sturmgruppe "Granit". The Sturmgrupe "Granit" (Granite) was the assault group that famously captured the Belgian Eben-Emael fort on 10 May 1940 led by Oberleutnant Rudolf Witzig. It was 86 men strong and was carried in 11 gliders.

Original Scarce Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Dr.med. Rolf Jäger. Oberstabsarzt Dr.med. Rolf Jäger (01.11.1912 † 06.01.1984) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzeson May 15, 1940 as Oberarzt und Truppenarzt of Fallschirm-Sturm-Abteilung Koch.
Awarded for his actions with Sturm-Abteilung Koch during the assault on the Vroenhoven bridge. Upon landing he immediately set about his duties, and was able to recover and/or treat 7 dead and 24 wounded men of the Sturmgruppe despite heavy enemy fire. Jäger would be recognized appropriately for his dedication.

(M.G.) / Ersatz-Kompanie 435.. He wore the Erkennungsmarke: -598- 4./Inf.Ers.Btl.435. He probably was a Rechnungsführer (or atleast after April ‘44).He served with the following (notable) unit(s):

Original Wehrpass of Gefreiter Eugen Kolb, born on May 6, 1914 in Niederbröl. The Wehrpass was opened on August 13, 1936 by Wehrbezirkskommando Siegburg. Before going into service, he was a Plattenleger (Paver). He wore the Erkennungsmarke: -74- 11./I.R.464. Gefreiter Eugen Kolb went Missing in Action in Nameche, Belgium on May 18, 1940. He was later found dead. From the letters, I could make out he was a “Meldefahrer” and on that fateful day, during Artillerie-Feuer (Artillery fire), they lost him. he lies buried in the Kriegsgräberstätte Lommel: Block 48 Grab 465.Comes with extra letters, papers, a Landhelfer-Brief, a studio portrait and a photograph of his grave. Original scarce Death Card for a German soldier KIA in Belgium during May 1940. Schütze Franz Stuke served with the 10. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 59 of the 19. Infanterie-Division when he was KIA on May 26, 1940 in Izegem, West-Flanders, Belgium by "A.G. Rücken, Brust und Bein". There's no photo on the death card. Comes with an extra photo. Can't say if it belongs together, but it came together.
