He was captured in Zaghouan, Tunis. Final promotion to Oberstleutnant on January 1, 1944. Added a biography page of him! Stunning pink-piped visor cap for officers with all its original insignia and name tag. Diamond within with the maker Militäreffekten Mützenfabrikation Josef Weithmann Augsburg.
