Abteilung/ Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 103 of the 4. Panzer-Division.

Oberst Ernst-Wilhelm (29.09.1904 in Nürnberg † 27.08.1994 in Gräfelfin) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 4, 1940 as Major und Kommandeur of the I. Bataillon/ Schützen-Regiment 12 and the Eichenlaub on June 9, 1944 as Oberstleutnant und Kommandeur of the Panzergrenadier-Regiment 12 of the 4. Panzer-Division.

Oberfeldwebel Hermann Bix (10.10.1914 † 31.07.1986) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on November 5, 1942 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on March 22, 1945 as Oberfeldwebel und Zugführer in the 3. Kompanie/ Panzer-Regiment 35 of the 4. Panzer-Division, which was the highest decorated Panzer-Regiment as well as Panzer-Division in the entire Wehrmacht! He also earned the Panzerkampfabzeichen IV. Stufe (Einsatzahl "100").
Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo plus Letter of Fritz-Rudolf Schultz. Major Fritz-Rudolf Schultz (19.02.1917 † 02.03.2002) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on December 26, 1943 with Panzer-Regiment 35, the Ritterkreuz on April 21, 1944 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the I. Abteilung/ Panzer-Regiment 35 of the 4. Panzer-Division and the Eichenlaub on October 28, 1944 as Major und stellv. Führer of Panzer-Regiment 35 Good Condition.
Eichenlaub: Awarded for his actions during the defensive battle at the Venta river on the 09.10.1944. While in command of the armoured Kampfgruppe of the Division he counterattacked and smashed a group of Soviets that had broken into the German lines. In doing so he halted an attack by 2-3 Soviet divisions, and was thereby able to stabilize the southern flank of the 4. Panzer-Division.

Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo plus Letter of Erich Schneider. Generalleutnant Erich Schneider (12.08.1894 † 03.08.1980) earned the Ritterkreuz on May 5, 1943 as Generalmajor und Kommandeur of the 4. Panzer-Division and the Eichenlaub on March 6, 1945 as Generalleutnant und Kommandeur of the 14. Infanterie-Division. Good condition.
Eichenlaub: Awarded for his successful command of the 14. Infanterie-Division during the five-day long battle west, NW and NE of Ostrolenka, which saw repeated Soviet onslaughts defeated with the result that the attempted breakthrough could be prevented. Vital for the German success here was the leadership of Schneider himself. In every difficult moment he was to be found right at the front despite heavy Soviet fire, and was thus able to make his decisions based on a clear understanding of the situation as well as provide an inspiring example to his troops.
